Nicholas William Brady

Sir Nicholas William Brady (born February 16, 1791 - † November 27/28, 1843 ) was a Dublin Councilor and Lord Mayor.

Nicholas William Brady was the eldest son of Francis Tempest Brady († 1821) and had two brothers and eight sisters. His brother Maziere Brady later became Lord Chancellor of Ireland several times. Nicholas Brady himself became a councilor in Dublin in 1833 and held the office of Lord Mayor of Dublin from 1839 to 1840 . He was knighted by George IV ( Knight Bachelor ).

Since October 1815 he was married to Catherine-Anne-Emily Hodgson († 1839). The marriage resulted in four sons and two daughters.
