Nick Yates

Nicholas "Nick" Yates (* 1962 in Lee Green, London ) is an English badminton player .

Career

Nick Yates won Hungarian International as a junior in 1979. In the same year he also won gold and silver at the European Junior Championships. In 1981 he won the Scottish Open, Canadian Open and Dutch Open. A year later he won gold at the European championships with the English team and bronze in the men's singles. In 1985 he was successful at the German Open, in 1988 at the Japan Open.
