Nicky Pastorelli
Nicky Pastorelli (born April 11, 1983 in The Hague , Netherlands ) is a racing driver and currently lives in Rijswijk , (Netherlands).
Career
After a successful start in karting, he won the Euro Formula 3000 championship in 2004 .
On October 24, 2005 , the Jordan Grand Prix and the Midland Group announced that they had hired Pastorelli as their official test driver and Friday's driver. It was also planned for the Midland F1 successor team in 2006 . However, this contract did not materialize, instead he drove in 2006 for the Rocketsports Racing team in the American Champ Car Championship . The best place was a 6th place, overall he was 17th in the championship standings and sixth in the rookie standings with 73 experienced points. In 2008 he drove for the German team VICI Racing in the GT-2 class of the American Le Mans Series .
