Nico Cirasola

Domenico Cirasola (born May 29, 1951 in Gravina di Puglia , Province of Bari ) is an Italian cultural worker and film director .

Life

Cirasola worked for ten years in the cultural sector , organized exhibitions and festivals and was active as a short film maker himself . In 1987 he directed L'altro figaro for television and switched to cinema two years later. His films, which are then made at regular intervals, are earthy, but also symbolic and narrative works. He often plays a role in the films made from his own scripts.

His Foccaccia blues , created in 2009, has received several awards.
