Nico Visscher
Nicolaas Henderikus "Nico" Visscher (* 1933 ) is a Dutch cartoonist .
Visscher draws cartoons and caricatures for the Groninger Nieuwsblad van het Noorden , including a daily drawing on the front page that has been published since October 1961, since June 1977 under the title Korrel . The newspaper celebrated the 25th anniversary of this series in 1986 with the collection 't Is alle dagen wat .
In addition, Visser has been drawing for Binnenlands Bestuur , a magazine for local government officials, since 1988 , and for the Catholic magazine Bijeeen from 1982–2004 . For this he also drew Voedselvraagstuk in 1983 , an examination of the hunger problem, which was awarded the Grand Prix van de Salon International de la Caricature in Montréal in 1984 .
In the winter of 2007/08, the Caricature Museum in the Markiezenhof in Bergen op Zoom dedicated an exhibition to him.
