architecture
The former town hall of Mönchengladbach-Land was built in 1912–1914. The building, which stands on a T-shaped floor plan, takes on the shape of a three-wing complex thanks to the mayor's house attached to the east. The two-story building is covered by a steeply sloping slate roof. The prestigious post-Art Nouveau building of above-average quality is worth preserving for reasons of city history, architecture and urban development.
