Nicolò Solimani , even Nicolò da Verona (born from 1420 to 1425 in Verona , died in the 15th century) was an Italian painter of the Renaissance .

Life

From the life story of Liberale da Verona , a nephew and painter colleague, we know that Nicolò Solimani's father was called Zenone and was also a painter. He had at least one sister, Iacopa Solimani, the Liberal's mother.

For many years he was in the service of the Dukes of Mantua and worked mainly in their residence city of Mantua . He was also famous as an excellent landscape painter. Many private houses in Verona owned his works.
