Nicola Mohler

Nicola Mohler (born June 4, 1987 in Basel ) is a Swiss table tennis player .

Life

Nicola (Nico) Mohler was born in 1987 and lives in Oberwil BL . He currently plays for the French club TT Saint Louis. His previous positions were at ESV Weil am Rhein, TTC Rio-Star Muttenz , TTC Wehr, BTK Köping and TTC Lörrach. In Germany he played in the 2004/05 season - coming from BTK Köping - at the TTC Wehr in a class below the top division. In 2008 he moved from TTC Rio star Muttenz to regional league team ESV Weil am Rhein.

From 2009 to 2012 he was Swiss individual champion four times in a row . He also plays very successfully in doubles and mixed games. In the world rankings , the Swiss number two is currently in 378th place (as of January 3, 2014)

Since 2007 (until 2014) he took part in seven world championships , but never came close to medal ranks. In 2016 he ended his international career to concentrate on studying law.
