Nicolas Basin

Nicolas Basin (born July 22, 1998 in Forbach , Moselle ) is a French football player . He has played for FC Metz since his youth and has been part of the professional squad since 2018.

Career

The Basin, who grew up in Behren-lès-Forbach , played for US Behren and US Forbach in his childhood before he moved to the FC Metz youth academy at the age of eleven . On September 5, 2015, Basin played his first game for the reserve team of FC Metz in a 5-3 win on matchday three of the fifth division against Raon L'Etape . He came to three missions this season. On August 13, 2016 Basin played his first game in professional football in the jersey of the professional team in the 3-2 win on the first day of Ligue 1 against OSC Lille . Otherwise he was used for the U19 and the reserve team. The professional team managed to stay up as a climber. On December 16, 2017, Basin scored his first goal in professional football on matchday 18 in the away game against HSC Montpellier with the goal to make it 3-1. At the end of the season, FC Metz was relegated to Ligue 2 . On February 15, 2018, he signed his first professional contract.
