Nicolas Roldan

Nicolas "Nic" Roldan (born December 4, 1982 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an American polo player with a handicap of 9. He is one of the best players in the world and is considered the best American player.

Life

Roldan was born in Buenos Aires as the son of an Argentinean and a German and grew up in Wellington (Florida) . He has both Argentine, US and German citizenship.

In 1990, when he was only 8 years old, he played his first polo game. Roldan was the youngest player to win the US Open Polo Championship ; then he was 15 years old. Nic's father Raul Roldan was also a professional polo player and played in the team of the Sultan of Brunei for many years.

In addition to polo, Nicolas Roldan has been working for a model agency since 2009 and is a brand ambassador for a watch and jewelry manufacturer. In 2009 Vanity Fair magazine named him one of the ten hottest polo players in the world.
