Nicolas van Werveke

Nicolas Paul Antoine van Werveke (born July 23, 1851 in Dikrech , † February 24, 1926 in Luxembourg ) was a Luxembourg professor (high school teacher) and historian.

He was active in many ways, but especially in the field of numismatics, in the field of cultural and linguistic research, and also published on medieval history. He was director of the Lycée Robert-Schuman in Luxembourg.

Nicolas van Werveke contributed to the inventory of the national library and thus made a valuable contribution to the development of a national bibliography.
