The Nicolassee is a body of water in the town of Teupitz in the Dahme-Spreewald district of Brandenburg .
The lake with no inflow or outflow is located southeast of the city in a forest area. The federal motorway 13 runs east of the water , from which Teupitz is accessed on the Buchholzer Strasse south of the lake . The lake can be reached from a three-kilometer circular hiking trail. It leads from the listed hotel in Lindenstrasse 5 along Waldstrasse past the buildings of the former nursing village, which were built between 1905 and 1908 for the state mental institution.
