Nicole Ansperger (* 1981 in Stuttgart ) is a German musician.

Life

Nicole Ansperger's talent in early musical education was discovered at the age of three. Due to their good hearing and motor skills, the recommendation was made to learn a string instrument.

At the age of six she became a student of the violinist George Moradian. He encouraged her talent and let her develop her own style. Under his leadership, Nicole won the talent competition “ Jugend musiziert ” at the age of eleven . Shortly afterwards she gained experience in a youth orchestra.

Since the classical music did not meet their musical taste, they came some time later on The Hooters -Coverband Jonny B. to folk-rock . Through numerous festival appearances, other bands became aware of her. This was followed by guest appearances with various bands and musicians such as Billy Goodman and Sean Tracey. In 2004 she was hired by The Hooters for their tour of Germany. This is how the German folk rock band Paddy Goes To Holyhead (PGTH) became aware of them. From 2005 to the end of 2013 she had a permanent engagement with PGTH and often plays as a guest musician with Jamie Clarke's (former Pogues guitarist) band Perfect . In 2005 she produced her first CD with Jo Naumann (keyboard player and singer at PGTH).

From July 2008 she also played with the band Across the Border .

In December 2013 she became a member of the band Eluveitie , which she left in 2015 and rejoined in 2017.
