In addition to painting and drawing, many of her works also include photography, sculpture, installation and, above all, music. Bianchet is represented by Galerie Michael Haas.

style

Bianchet describes her medium to large format pictures as "emotional landscapes". For these she mainly uses large sheets of plywood as image carriers, which she works on with a knife and then paints. The cuts leave structures in the abstract picture surface, which are reminiscent of landscapes, often seeming surreal with unnatural colors, unreal plants and non-objective colored surfaces. Romantic environments, such as lonely forests and lakes in the moonlight, are juxtaposed with the mystical and gloomy. Bianchet often also uses photographic works as a template, in which the artist, partly equipped with simple accessories or painted with body paint, stages herself in the surrounding nature. Other works by Bianchet are figurative pictures of brightly made-up women with large eyes, as nudes or portraits , sometimes surrounded by words or scraps of sentences.
