Gustav Kluge

Gustav Kluge (born July 7, 1947 in Wittenberge ) is a German painter and professor of painting at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe .

Life

Gustav Kluge studied painting at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts from 1968 to 1972 . In 1974 he co-founded the producer gallery in Hamburg. From 1978 to 1985 he taught at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts and received the Edwin Scharff Prize in 1988 . Since 1996 he has held a professorship for painting at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. Clever work has been shown in numerous solo exhibitions, including a. in Hamburg, Cologne , Munich , Berlin , Weimar , Bremen , and were represented in many national and international group exhibitions. Works are in important public collections. Gustav Kluge works and lives in Hamburg.
