Nicole Simon (born December 15, 1968 in Mannheim ) is a German photographer .

Nicole Simon completed an apprenticeship as a photographer in the studio and then completed it with a Bachelor of Professional Photography.

She works as a photographer, has published several photo books and panoramic landscape calendars and has had numerous exhibitions. In 2004 the illustrated book Töne Mannheims was published , which presents the music scene in over 100 b / w portraits. For the 400th anniversary of the city, Nicole Simon documented the faces of Mannheim (2007); From Olympic champions to actors and musicians as well as politicians and patrons of the economy, the city's personalities were brought together in this work. In 2007 the Kunsthalle Mannheim presented forty selected black and white portraits in a three-week solo exhibition on the occasion of the presentation of their art book, Faces of Mannheim . Your picture book Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar (2009) shows on 320 pages portraits of well-known personalities as well as numerous landscape photos.

In 2015 the Museum Zeughaus - Forum Internationale Photographie of the Reiss-Engelhorn-Museums presented a solo exhibition with works by Nicole Simon.

Nicole Simon's art initiative, the charity calendar project HEAR IT! 2017 - Hearing means belonging, supports hearing health. The calendar appeared at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2016 in a limited and signed special edition in a panorama format 130x50 cm.

In the publication Visionaries of Today, Designers of Tomorrow (2018), Nicole Simon describes “reality in pictures” and explains her views on photography and how to turn a photo into a memory.

In 2018, Simon presented her art calendar Point of View at the Frankfurt Book Fair . The panorama calendar shows landscape portraits and mega-cities in connection with ideal values.
