Nidia Pardo

Nidia Rosa Pardo Marrugo (born October 2, 1984 ) is a Venezuelan weightlifter .

Career

Pardo Marrugo took part in the Junior World Championships in 1999, 2001 and 2002, with her best result being seventh in 2002. In 2007 she was banned until 2009 for a doping violation . In 2010 she took first place in the class up to 63 kg at the Simon Bolivar Cup. She won the gold medal at the 2012 South American Championships and bronze at the 2012 Pan American Championships. In 2013 she was fourth at the Pan American Championships and eleventh at the World Championships . She also won the bronze medal at the Juegos Bolivarianos that year .
