The house Niedergasse 11 is a listed residential building in Stolberg (Harz) in the municipality of Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of Niedergasse on its eastern side in the old town of Stolberg. Immediately to the north is the also listed building Niedergasse 9 , south of the building Niedergasse 13 .

Architecture and history

The two-story half - timbered house was built in the first half of the 19th century. The seven-axis facade is symmetrical, with the front door from the end of the 19th century, which is slightly inwardly offset in the middle. Above this is a panorama window inserted in the 1930s on the upper floor. The framework is, typical for the construction period, simple and limited to the statically required parts.

A shop with a shop window is located on the ground floor. A hairdressing business is currently operated there (as of 2017) .

In the local monument register , the house has been listed as a monument since August 30, 2000 under registration number 094 30282 . The residential building is considered to be culturally, artistically and urbanistically significant.
