House Niedergasse 9 is a listed residential building in Stolberg (Harz) in the municipality of Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part at a bottleneck in Niedergasse on its eastern side in the old town of Stolberg. Immediately to the north is the also listed building Niedergasse 7 , to the south the building Niedergasse 11 .

Architecture and history

The three-storey half - timbered house was probably built in the 17th century, with the upper storey rebuilt later. The upper storeys protrude slightly and have profiled thresholds . There is a built-in shop on the left side of the ground floor. The three-storey structure is unusual for the street, but can also be found in the neighboring house to the north.

In the local monument register , the house has been listed as a monument since August 30, 2000 under registration number 094 30281 . The residential building is considered to be culturally, artistically and urbanistically significant.
