The house Niedergasse 7 is a listed residential building in Stolberg (Harz) in the municipality of Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part at a bottleneck in Niedergasse on its eastern side in the old town of Stolberg. Immediately to the south is the also listed building at Niedergasse 9 .

Architecture and history

The large three-storey half - timbered house was built in the 17th century. The upper floors protrude somewhat, with the thresholds being particularly decorated. The half-timbered facade is simply designed. In the 19th century, a shop with shop windows was added on the ground floor. The architectural design of the house was taken into account and updated for the new situation. The threshold area was carefully renewed at the beginning of the 20th century.

In the local register of monuments , the house has been listed as a monument since August 30, 2000 under registration number 094 30280 . The residential building is considered to be culturally, artistically and urbanistically significant.
