Niedermark

Niedermark was a short-lived parish that existed from January 1, 1971 to June 30, 1972. The community belonged to the district of Osnabrück in the Lower Saxony administrative district of the same name . It had about 4,300 inhabitants when it was founded.

geography

The districts of Gellenbeck and Natrup-Hagen are west of Georgsmarienhütte in the Teutoburg Forest . The district of Sudenfeld is located south of these two districts and borders the North Rhine-Westphalian communities of Lienen and Lengerich in the Steinfurt district, while the Natrup-Hagen district shares a border with Tecklenburg .

founding

On January 1, 1971, the community of Niedermark was newly formed. The previous communities of Gellenbeck, Natrup-Hagen and Sudenfeld belonged to it.

Parish dissolution

On July 1, 1972, the young community was dissolved again and incorporated into the community of Hagen am Teutoburg Forest .
