Lower Saxony Football Association 1910

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lower Saxony Football Association 1910 (NFV) was a local football association for the Osnabrück / Bielefeld area. The association was founded at the end of January / beginning of February 1910 to create a game for previously independent football clubs in the region, as an alternative to the West German Game Association , which has held championships in its 7th district there since 1907 .

As early as February 13, 1910 , the championship games began in a first division and a two-part second class, in which a total of nine clubs from Osnabrück , Bielefeld , Bramsche , Brackwede and Schildesche took part. In the second class, eight second teams took part alongside the first team from FC Germania Osnabrück. Due to the late start of the season, the point round was probably only held in a single round. After the last championship games on May 8, 1910 , FC Britannia Brackwede led the table, although there were still two undecided protests.

Since the Lower Saxony Football Association did not go public with association announcements after the last match day in 1910 , it probably disbanded in the summer of 1910 .
