The executioner's house at Niederstrasse 2 is a building in Darmstadt-Bessungen . The executioner's house was the home of the former Darmstadt executioner family Schönbein.
History and description
The hangman's house was built in 1744 .
The two-storey, gable - front half-timbered building has a beaver-tail-covered half -hip roof with dormers . On the upper floor there is a regular framework with a man motif . The door frame above the front door is decorated with a carved coat of arms .
