Nigel Andrews

Nigel Andrews (born April 3, 1947 ) is a British film critic.

Life

Andrews graduated from Cambridge University . He was then editor of the “Cinema One book series” at the British Film Institute . He wrote reviews for Sight & Sound and for the "Monthly Film Bulletin". He worked as a freelancer for BBC Radio . In 1985 he was named Critic of the Year at the British Press Awards .

Andrews has published biographies about the film actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and John Travolta . The movie Jaws (Jaws) produced a reference book. Andrews writes film reviews for the Financial Times .
