Nigel Ellis (born August 8, 1997 in Saint James Parish ) is a Jamaican sprinter .

Athletic career

Montego Bay gained his first international experience at the CARIFTA Games 2014 in Fort-de-France , where he won the gold medal with the Jamaican 4 x 400 meter relay. At the 2015 Games in Basseterre , he reached the final over 200 meters, but did not play there. He also won the gold medal with the 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2016 in St. George's he won gold over 100 meters and with the relay and was disqualified over 200 meters. He then took part in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , where he won the bronze medal in the 200-meter run in 20.63 s and finished fourth in the Jamaican relay in 39.13 s.

In 2018 he took part for the first time in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast , where he was eliminated in the semi-finals over 100 meters and won the bronze medal with the relay in 38.35 s.
