Nik Gowing
Nik Keith Gowing (* 1951 ) is a British television journalist. He is the longest serving presenter on BBC World News , the 24-hour TV news and information channel of the BBC . Nik Gowing is from Wales .
He was previously the foreign affairs moderator at ITN since 1978, after which Nik Gowing became Diplomatic Editor for the flagship Channel 4 News in 1989.
In February 1996, Gowing was named an anchorman for the BBC World News' 24 hour program. Since then he has mainly presented The World Today , plus Europe Direct , HARDtalk , Dateline London , The Hub and Simpson-World .
