Nik Tyndall

Nik Tyndall , actually Jürgen "Nik" Krehan , pseudonym Reiki (* 1963 near Stuttgart ) is a German musician specializing in instrumental and electronic music .

Life

In 1979, Krehan met the electronics engineer Rudolf Langer. Both moved to West Berlin in 1980 and worked together until 1983. The first recordings were released from 1980 onwards by the Hamburg electronics label Sky ( Eno , Cluster , Roedelius , Blenner , Adelbert von Deyen , Dieter Schütz etc.). From 1983 Krehan took over the group name Tyndall as a personal stage name and added his nickname before that. As Nik Tyndall, he released further records, wrote commissioned music (including for the Frankfurt synthesizer days White Waves or the drugstore chain Rossmann under the pseudonym Reiki ) and was at live concerts, including at the electronics days 1985 in Berlin , the trade fair "Synthimedia 1987", 1986 and 1987 to be heard at Germany's largest synthesizer festival White Waves and Ars Electronica .

In addition to his solo albums, Tyndall has devoted himself to other musical projects such as Akiro Tenere , Chill Out Ocean Cut , Sleeping Bodies , Electronic Club Lounge , Grado Lagoon Project , Maschinen Saal , Digital Nomads and Anuvida . The Berliner by choice has now released almost thirty albums. Tyndall's publications are the label " CUE Records to relate"; his music can also be ordered as a download from the Internet. In spring 2018, the first two Lps appeared for the first time on CD at Bureau B.
