Niki Garagouni

Niki Garagouni ( Greek Νίκη Γκαραγκούνη , born March 12, 1977 in Greece ) is a Greek volleyball player .

Niki Garagouni, who plays at a height of 1.84 m in the position of middle blocker, began her career in 1988 with the Greek club EA Larisa, where she played for six years. In the summer of 1994 Garagouni moved to the Athens club Vrilissia, where she won four championships (1995, 1996, 1997, 1999) twice (1999, 2000) and third place at the European Cup Winners' Cup in the next six years . In the summer of 2000 Garagouni moved to the traditional club Panathinaikos Athens where she was able to achieve the double in 2005 and 2006. At Panathinaikos, Niki Garagouni met her older sister Maria Garagouni , with whom she had previously played at EA Larisa and Vrilissia.

Niki Garagouni is an integral part of the Greek national team and took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens .
