Nikiszowiec

Nikiszowiec (German Nickischschacht ) is a historic workers' settlement that is now in the Janów-Nikiszowiec district in the east of the Upper Silesian city of Katowice in Poland.

The settlement was built for the miners of the Gieschegrube from 1908 to 1915 and from 1920 to 1924 according to plans by the Charlottenburg architects Emil and Georg Zillmann.
