Niklas Weißenberger (born May 13, 1993 in Würzburg ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Weißenberger began his adult career with the second team of SpVgg Greuther Fürth , for which he had previously been active in youth until 2012. After a season with Fürth in the regional league, he moved to league rivals Würzburger Kickers in the summer of 2013 . With the Kickers Weißenberger rose to the 3rd division in the 2014/15 season , he made his debut there on September 12, 2015 in a 0-1 defeat against the second team of 1. FSV Mainz 05 . In the summer of 2016 he moved to the Landesliga Württemberg to the Sportfreunde Dorfmerkingen . With his club he was promoted to the association league in 2017 . In summer 2018 he switched to TSV Essingen within the league.
