Planet Döner is the third studio album by the comedy duo Erkan and Stefan . It was released on February 18, 2000 on the Lawine label. For the most part, this album is a radio play about a kebab shop in Munich , which Erkan and Stefan become owners through certain circumstances. The songs I Swear and Druckmusik are the only two songs on the album. Both songs belong to the hip-hop genre. I swear was released as a single before the album was released, a video was also shot for the song and is on the album.

action

Erkan and Stefan work as temporary workers for Ecki , a kebab shop owner and friend of the two. You get the order from Ecki to transport a pallet of the energy drink Red Bull . For this they use Ecki's car, a BMW E23 . On the way to Ecki's kebab shop, however, Erkan and Stefan are confronted several times with Ruth , a talking navigation device , whereupon Erkan loses his composure and gives the navigation device a blow. As a result, the car triggers the airbag and covers Stefan's view. Erkan instructs Stefan to take the fire extinguisher and knock down the airbag with it, which Stefan does. However, this does not turn out to be a good idea, as the extinguishing foam then escapes from the fire extinguisher, so the car begins to slide and races straight towards Ecki's shop and collides with him. Ecki's car is now badly demolished, and his shop is in ruins. Ecki passed out, stunned by the sight. A short time later, Pitbull Rado , who Erkan and Stefan are afraid of, comes into the shop. They improvise a lie to cover up their mishap and explain that Ecki is retraining and that the store is being renovated. Pitbull Rado believes them both but wants a kebab. Erkan and Stefan ask him ten minutes to prepare the kebab. Pitbull Rado agrees and leaves the store. At first, Erkan and Stefan don't know what to do and want to flee, but decide to stay and prepare Pitbull Rado his kebab. After Pitbull Rado comes back ten minutes later and gets his kebab, he realizes that the kebab tastes different than usual, but very good. The secret of the recipe lay in the kebab skewer, which was thrown into the drinks shelf when the car collided and mixed with the Red Bull drink there. Erkan and Stefan now decide to take over the shop and bring it up to scratch. They also name it Planet Döner . All of the happenings on the album take place in one day.
