Florian Klaus Simbeck (born June 27, 1971 in Munich ) is a German actor and comedian . He became known through the figure he embodied, Stefan Lust, as a partner of John Friedmann in the comedy duo Erkan and Stefan . Simbeck is politically active on a voluntary basis as a member of the district council of the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district .

Simbeck took after graduating from the Reuchlin-Gymnasium in Ingolstadt , a law school in Regensburg and Munich, where he obtained his first state examination 1999th In the mid-1990s he and John Friedmann could be heard on a Munich radio station in the comedy show Klub Ma: d as Erkan and Stefan . In 1999 they both appeared in their first feature film, Erkan & Stefan, directed by Michael Herbig . This was followed by two more films: Erkan & Stefan against the forces of darkness in 2002 and Erkan & Stefan in Death Comes Krass 2005.

In addition to Erkan and Stefan, Simbeck also worked in other productions. In 2002 he played in the series Klinikum Berlin Mitte - Life in Readiness . This was followed by roles in Die Rosenheim-Cops and SOKO 5113 . In addition to his success with Erkan and Stefan , he produced the television film Ich Chef, du nix by Yasemin Şamdereli in 2007 , in which he himself took on a supporting role and in which his wife also appeared. In 2005, directed by Tommy Krappweis , he played Tiger & Bär in the fairy tale Rumpelstiltskin with John Friedmann as part of the ProSieben fairy tale hour . From 2008 to 2010 Simbeck also performed live as the Hinterseer parody “der Schöne Hansi” in the musical “Die Alpenköniginnen”. He can also be heard on the soundtrack of the same name, released in 2009 . From 2010 to 2012 Simbeck was represented on German comedy stages with his LOL program and has been touring Germany with other comedy programs since then.

The Pay TV transmitter AXN committed Simbeck 2010 as "AXN-Reporter". In 2012 Simbeck won the Mira Award for Best Moderator 2011 with his reports for AXN. 2011 - 2012 Simbeck wrote a regular column for the men's magazine "Provocateur". During the European Football Championship in 2012, he hosted the C-Cup on the TV station Comedy Central . In addition, Florian Simbeck was seen together with Annett Fleischer on ZDFneo in 2012 , where he hosted the program “Das Traumhaus-Duell” with her.

From 2012 to 2015 Simbeck played for Bavarian TV together with Constanze Lindner , Eva Mähl , Christian Springer and Uli Bauer in the comedy series Die Komiker . Simbeck was a permanent member of the four-person ensemble there.

Florian Simbeck hosts the comedy mixed shows “Comedy Night of Horror” in Burghausen, Upper Bavaria, and the “Comedy Lounge” in Ingolstadt , Munich , Dachau , Aichach , Augsburg and Schongau .

Florian Simbeck is currently on tour with his comedy program.

Simbeck stood as a candidate for the SPD in the Freising constituency in the 2013 federal election , but was defeated by his opponent Erich Irlstorfer from the CSU .

Since May 2014 Simbeck has been sitting for the SPD in the district council of the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district , where he is in particular a member of the youth welfare committee .

Private

Simbeck is married to Stephanie Simbeck, an American, with whom he has two children. Until 2017 he lived in Reichertshausen , north of Munich. Stephanie Simbeck is herself an actress , model , presenter and freelance entrepreneur . At the beginning of 2017 he moved to Rohrbach with his family .

In 2010 the Schyren-Gymnasium Pfaffenhofen was awarded the title School without Racism - School with Courage , for which Simbeck took over the sponsorship .
