Erich Irlstorfer (born May 27, 1970 in Freising ) is a German politician ( CSU ) and has been a member of the German Bundestag since September 22, 2013 .

Life

Born and raised in Freising, Irlstorfer graduated from the Freising State Business School in 1986 and subsequently trained as an office clerk. He is married and has two children.

Irlstorfer joined the CSU in 1995 and has been deputy district chairman of the CSU Freising since 2006. From 2002 to 2014 Irlstorfer was a member of the Freising City Council . In 2008 he was elected to the district assembly in the Freising district , where he was appointed senior political spokesman for the CSU district parliamentary group and from 2011 held the office of chairman of the CSU city council group in Freising until 2014. He was 2008-2014 Board of Trustees of the Holy Spirit Hospital - Foundation in Freising and since 2014 the Supervisory Board in Klinikum Freising .

In the general election in 2013 won Irlstorfer with 52.9 percent of the primary vote, the direct mandate in the Bundestag constituency Freising and moved as a deputy in the Bundestag one. During the 18th legislative period of the German Bundestag, he was a full member of the Committee on Health , where he was rapporteur for care professions and dental issues and co-rapporteur for quality in care. He was also an alternate member of the sports committee and the voluntary work sub-committee. In the 2017 Bundestag election , he was able to recover with 43% of the first votes. In the 19th German Bundestag , Irlstorfer is a full member of the Health Committee and the Global Health subcommittee. He is a deputy member of the Labor and Social Committee .
