Germany is beautiful - The Allstar Comedy was a comedy series on Sat.1 that caricatured the lives of Germans in sketches . It was broadcast weekly on Fridays at 9:15 p.m. The moderator was Jürgen von der Lippe ; other actors were many well-known German comedians.
Skits
Each episode consists of a sequence of sketches that are held together by the moderator Jürgen von der Lippes, who is each time in a different unusual place.
The skits each show an excerpt from the life of Germans. The comedians always play fixed roles, for example Tetje Mierendorf a pastor, Dirk Bach a cook and John Friedmann and Florian Simbeck a patrol duo.
Theme music
The title track is a cover version of Coldplay's “Clocks” , played by the Tallywood String Quartet.

The series obviously borrows from the British hit series Little Britain . The authors included a. Ralf Betz , Paulus Vennebusch, Georg Weyers-Rojas, Jackie Thomae, Holger Schmitt and Laabs Kowalski . The series was nominated for the Adolf Grimme Prize .
