Peter Nottmeier (born July 22, 1958 in Wanne-Eickel ) is a German actor .

Life

From 1972 to 1978 Peter Nottmeier attended the boarding school of the Otto-Kühne-Schule in Bonn ( Bad Godesberg ) and did his Abitur there .

From 1980 to 1984 he completed his training at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum . At the same time he played from 1983 in 26 episodes of the sitcom 6 right the son of the family ( WDR / Radio Bremen ). This was followed by theater engagements at various city and state theaters for several years.

From 1989 to 1991 he shot the television format The big flap in parallel . In 26 episodes he reported as reporter Harry Hackmann on the various previous evening productions on ARD. He had many international interviewees in programs such as WWF Club . a. Gilbert Becaud , Elton John , Joe Cocker or Zsa Zsa Gabor . He then took over the jury seat for 13 episodes in the cult program Die Gong-Show on RTL. From then on, theater, television and film productions alternated again and again (see filmography). In 1997 he wrote the radio play Lutz Darwinsky for WDR - I lack the words , in which he also played the main role.

Peter Nottmeier was a member of the Switch ensemble from the start. From 1997 to 2000, 65 episodes of this comedy series were created for ProSieben in four seasons . Here he became known with his parodies of Louis de Funès , Alfred Biolek , Dieter Thomas Heck , Marcel Reich-Ranicki and many others. After the series started again in 2006, under the title " Switch reloaded ", six more seasons were shot. Peter Nottmeier embodied roles like Günter Netzer , Johannes B. Kerner , Peter Zwegat , Atze Schröder , Monk or the fictional character “Hebbät Schwackowiak” (Peter Nottmeier is an avowed Schalke fan). For the “Switch reloaded” format, the ensemble u. a. the German television award, the Austrian television award "Romy" and the Adolf Grimme award.

2012 Peter Nottmeier parallel spent nine months in Antwerp for Kindermysterie Series Hotel 13 of Nickelodeon as Hotel Director Richard Leopold .

In 2016 Peter Nottmeier experienced various adventures as Lord Castlepool in the production “The Treasure in Silbersee” at the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg. This was followed by leading roles at the Theater am Dom, Comedy at the Altstadtmarkt, Winterhuder Fährhaus and then a six-week tour with the Thespiskarren company. Until January 2020 Peter Nottmeier played “The Truth About Dinner for One” in the Contra-Kreis-Theater Bonn.
