Niko Rittenau

Nikolaus Rittenau (born March 26, 1991 in Carinthia , Austria ) is an Austrian vegan cook, nutritionist and author. With his book Vegan Klischee ade! Scientific answers to critical questions about vegan nutrition , which became a bestseller, became known in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Live and act

After graduating from high school in Austria, Niko Rittenau trained as a tourism clerk at the Carinthian Tourism Schools (KTS). In this context, he also received his qualification as a cook and was introduced to nutrition for the first time. Rittenau then worked as a cook and was already concentrating on vegetable cuisine back then. After an internship in Berlin, where he came into contact with veganism for the first time, he decided to study nutritional sciences at the German University for Prevention and Health Management (DHfPG). He is currently doing his master’s degree in micronutrient therapy and regulatory medicine at the Fachhochschule des Mittelstandes (FHM). In 2018 Rittenau published the book Vegan Klischee ade and has been on tour regularly since then, giving lectures at various events and offering a seminar program on vegan nutrition.
