Nikola Duric (* 1971 ) is a Croatian-German theater maker , author and performance artist .

Life

He studied drama, theater and media at Andrzej Wirth's Institute for Applied Theater Studies at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and is a co-founder of the performance collective Showcase Beat Le Mot, which was founded there .

As a guest dramaturge, he advises the migrant theater group Hajusom and is co-curator of the Hamburg KRASS Festival, which is held annually in the Hamburger Kulturfabrik Kampnagel . Together with people from the nationwide Kanak Attak movement, he produced several shows and revues, which a.o. in the early 2000s. a. at the Volksbühne at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz and at the Stuttgart Schauspielhaus.

He is also active as an author, radio play speaker, leads theater workshops and works as a DJ .

As part of the music group B Recordings, he released records for the record companies Payola and Cheap Records in the field of electronic music.

He played the role of director in Eva Könnemann's theater rehearsal film ensemble from 2010.

In 2013, together with his colleagues from Showcase Beat Le Mot, he built the so-called Ding Dong Dom - a non-stationary theater - in Berlin's Holzmarkt, in which the group premiered performances from their Nazi Supermen series.
