Quotes

  • About Russian newspaper readers: Our guests from the US and European countries may not understand what I'm talking about. But the classic Russian reader is not used to having a variety of opinions. He's used to being served an opinion on a tray. It is tiring to have a choice because then you have to think.
  • About his help in Yeltsin's last election campaign: We work with Yeltsin's team and make sure we have a good camera perspective when we show the president. I would like to show him drunk, but not now. Honesty has to wait until later.
