Nikolai Germanowitsch Nogowizyn ( Russian: Николай Германович Ноговицын ; born January 7, 1948 in Prokopyevsk ) is a former Soviet Nordic combined skier .

Career

Nogowizyn started for the Soviet Union at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1970 in Štrbské Pleso . In the individual combination, he won the silver medal behind the Czechoslovak Ladislav Rygl . He was only able to prevail by 0.34 points against his compatriot Vyacheslav Drjagin , who won bronze.

At the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck he was in the Gundersen singles after jumping in 16th place. Since he finished the subsequent 15 km run in third place, he ended up in sixth place.
