Nikolaj Mantschew (also written Nikolay Manchev , Bulgarian Николай Манчев ; born January 4, 1985 in Plovdiv ) is a Bulgarian football player . Most recently he played from 2009 to 2010 at CSKA Sofia in A Grupa , the highest Bulgarian league.

Career

Mantschew began his career at FC Maritsa Plovdiv . In 2007 he moved to the first division club Botew Plovdiv . In his first season with the club, he reached twelfth place. In the following season the league was again achieved with 13th place. In 2009 he moved to CSKA Sofia , where he made his debut at European club level. In the group game of the UEFA Europa League against the representative from Switzerland , FC Basel , on November 5, 2009 he was substituted on in the 28th minute. The game in Basel was lost 1: 3. ZSKA was runner-up in the championship.

In 2010 Mantschew returned to Botew, who now played in the W Grupa . After promotion in 2011, he and his team made it through to the House of Lords in the 2011/12 season . In the summer of 2012, his contract was not renewed and he was without a club for six months before third division FK Chaskowo signed him in early 2013 . In the summer of 2013 he was again briefly without engagement. In October 2013, third division club FK Oborischte signed him . At the end of August 2014 he moved to Ionikos Nikea in the Greek Gamma Ethniki .
