Nikolaus Heyduck

Nikolaus Heyduck (born October 25, 1957 in Kassel ) is a contemporary German artist and composer . He lives and works in Darmstadt .

life and work

Heyduck studied from 1979 to 1985 at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main; The basic course with Thomas Bayrle was followed by the main course in Peter Kubelka's film class . From 1980 he attended the international summer courses for new music in Darmstadt and took part in courses from Johannes Fritsch and Clarence Barlow . From 1990 to 1995 he studied composition with Toni Völker at the Academy of Music in Darmstadt.

Since 2003 he has been a member of the Darmstadt Secession . He is a freelancer in the archive of the International Music Institute Darmstadt . His compositions and installations are shown at home and abroad in exhibitions and performances.
