Nikolaus Stamm (born February 15, 1915 in Schney ; † May 6, 1974 ibid) was a German politician ( SPD ), from 1958 to 1974 a member of the Bavarian State Parliament and from 1966 to 1974 mayor of Schney ( Upper Franconia ).

In 1929, Stamm joined the Socialist Workers' Youth of the Central Association of Employees . During the Second World War he was used in an artillery division. He was a Soviet prisoner of war for five years . Then he was chairman of the NGG union in Lichtenfels , he was also a member of the representative assembly of the AOK Coburg and the district council of the Lichtenfels district , where he was also chairman of the SPD faction. In 1958 he entered the Bavarian state parliament for the first time. In 1966 he became mayor of his home parish Schney. During Stamm's tenure, Schney decided to incorporate it into Lichtenfels , which he helped to prepare. However, he did not live to see the integration in 1978. Nikolaus Stamm carried out both of his mandates until his sudden death in 1974. Heinrich Stenglein moved up for him in the state parliament .
