Nikolaus von Stralendorf

Nikolaus von Stralendorf († January 14, 1334 in Lübeck ) was 1319-1333 canon of Lübeck and 1323-1333 of Schwerin .

Life

Nikolaus von Stralendorf was the son of the Mecklenburg knight Heinrich von Stralendorf . From April 7, 1297 to 1324 he was a scholast at Wismar .

From February 25, 1319 to June 4, 1333 he was Canon of Lübeck. From February 17, 1323, Nikolaus von Stralendorf was Canon of Schwerin until June 8, 1333, and from May 8, 1332 he also held the deanery of Schwerin as dean.

On February 24, 1325, due to a papal commission, he had the Propstei zu Bützow in the diocese of Schwerin as the successor to Johann Lütjenburg, among whose will executors he was also. Nikolaus was not the immediate successor of Johann Lütjenburg in the Propstei zu Bützow, but Georg von Serkem as Canon of Schwerin from 1314 to 1341 and 1324 as Propst of Bützow.

He was buried in Lübeck Cathedral , where his grave slab is documented but not preserved.
