Life

As a teenager, Nik Linder discovered his enthusiasm for apnea diving, especially for distance diving, through club swimming. As a trainer for apnea diving at a Freiburg diving center , he continued to work intensively with apnea sports and made it increasingly professional.

Linder works as an author for diving magazines. In addition, together with the photographer Phil Simha, he has published two books that have been translated into several languages.

Linder developed the Relaqua relaxation concept, which has its origins in apnea diving. Different techniques - e.g. B. meditation , ( pranayama ) yoga and the diving reflex that is present in every mammal - are used here to relax.

As a freediving expert, Linder travels around the world, trains apnea divers (according to the standards of SSI Freediving and AIDA International ), conducts Relaqua courses, gives lectures and accompanies freediving events.

Linder lives with his family near Freiburg im Breisgau .
