Nikon Z system

The Z-System is a digital camera system from the Japanese camera manufacturer Nikon . It consists of a series of currently four mirrorless system camera housings with the Z bayonet newly developed by Nikon as well as six Nikkor lenses with fixed focal length and eight Nikkor zoom lenses .

The first cameras in the Z series were the Nikon Z 7 and Nikon Z 6 models with full-frame sensors , which came onto the market in 2018. The Nikon Z 50 followed in 2019 with the smaller DX sensor . In 2020, the Nikon Z 5 was released as a full-frame entry-level model.
