Potsdam water taxi
The Potsdam water taxi is a regular service by ship with a fixed timetable in the Brandenburg state capital Potsdam . The ships are operated by the traditional company Weisse Flotte Potsdam .
history
The Havel flows through the Brandenburg state capital Potsdam over a length of about ten kilometers . Between Sacrow , the Templin forest pool and the Templin forester's house on Lake Templin, there are numerous mooring points that are interesting for tourists and locals alike. A fast, bus-like transport connection on the water in the urban area was increasingly in demand. In order to create a connection between the sights, the hotels, Potsdam Central Station and the city center, the idea arose of setting up a taxi or bus-like operation with small but comfortable ships, regardless of the congested road traffic. On April 28, 2007, the first Potsdam water taxi started its first season. The following stations are scheduled moderately from Potsdam main station served by water taxis -Havelhof: The water taxis simultaneously take on the previously existing ferry traffic between pitcher Horn Park Klein-Glienicke to Sacrow .
