Nils Albrecht

Nils Albrecht (* 15. January 1966 in Rostock ) is a German politician of the CDU .

After attending the Polytechnic High School in Rostock-Brinckmansdorf, Albrecht trained as an electrician. The training company was VEB Starkstromanlagenbau Rostock , which today belongs to Siemens . After completing one year of basic military service, he studied at the Berlin-Lichtenberg technical college, specializing in electrical energy systems. From 1988 until its dissolution in 1990 he worked as an engineer at VEB Starkstromanlagenbau Rostock, afterwards he was a sales engineer and management consultant, and in 1998 he became a sales representative.

In 1996 Albrecht joined the CDU, where he sat on the board of the Rostock district association, he was also a member of the party-internal communal political association. In 1999 he was elected to the citizenship of the Hanseatic City of Rostock. On July 27, 2001, he replaced Arthur König who left the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and was a member of it until the end of the 2002 electoral term. He was the labor market policy spokesman for the CDU Landtrags faction.

Albrecht is married and has three children.
