Nils Edvard Svärd (born July 10, 1908 in Frösö ; † August 6, 2001 in Lit ) was a Swedish cross-country skier .

Svärd won the bronze medal over 18 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberhof in 1931 . He also came fourth there over 50 km. The following year, he finished tenth over 18 km at the Winter Olympics in Lake Placid .
