Ninho do Açor is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Castelo Branco . 393 residents lived in it (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Ninho do Açor and Sobral do Campo were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Ninho do Açor e Sobral do Campo . Ninho do Açor is the seat of this newly formed community.
