Póvoa de Rio de Moinhos is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Castelo Branco . 643 residents lived in it (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Póvoa de Rio de Moinhos and Cafede were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Póvoa de Rio de Moinhos e Cafede . Póvoa de Rio de Moinhos is the seat of this newly formed community.
